   manav mangal SMART SCHOOL offers a rich plethora of activities in fields like IT, Art & Craft, Dance, Yoga and Music. A blend of this along with activities like debating, quizzing, poetry recitation, spellathon etc. creates the desired balance and an interesting mix of extra and co-curricular. Students participate in a number of Inter-School competitions among Tricity schools and win laurels. Regular participation in group activities helps our students to imbibe the skills of effective communication, team work and inter- personal skills. 

The wide array of sports facilities like Lawn-Tennis courts, Skating Rink and Indoor Sports like Chess, Table Tennis etc. offered, sees players bloom at the age of as young as 6 years. We are fortunate to have been blessed with students who have made us proud by attaining positions at not only State, but National level as well. Credit is shared by the school’s well-maintained infrastructure and trained faculty. Apart from a daily physical activity period for all classes, evening sports are organized to provide free training to students under expert coaches. Also, fun sports and track events are held on Annual Sports Fest day, making it a day of competition cum enjoyment.

The school conducts SCHOOL OLYMPICS wherein students participate & compete in various games like Badminton, Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Skating, Chess & Carrom. 

  We focus equally on co-curricular activities with our cultural extravaganzas for each class ensuring 100% participation through choreographed shows like Kilkari, Razzmatazz and Panache. Each child (starting from tiny tots) gets the opportunity to exhibit his/ her talent on stage and perform in front of parents. The Annual Exhibition, covering more than 30 rooms, gives students an opportunity to display their creativity. Working towards the exhibition also gives them a platform to work in a team thus promoting the values of team spirit and sharing. Visual Arts & Performing Arts are encompassed in the wide range of activities planned in advance keeping in mind the holistic development of the students.

We adopt not only a teaching methodology that is suited to the individual needs of learners but also lesson plans that are based on multiple intelligence theories. We make sure that students are not taught in water-tight compartments .The focus is to impart experiential and application-based learning through Field Trips to places like Museums, Historical Monuments, Botanical Gardens etc. Nature walks are an important part of the curriculum.  Educational Trip cum Excursion is an annual feature to which students look forward the whole year.

The School from Classes III to X has been divided into four Houses viz. Achievers, Motivators, Pioneers and Innovators. Each House, supervised by a teacher as House Mistress and other House teachers, is responsible for Discipline on weekly basis. The school consciously works towards creating future leaders, honing their leadership skill and making them active & responsible citizens of tomorrow. In this respect, the Student Council is encouraged to conduct Daily Morning Assembly and organize various school events.
